Installation

1. Obtain an EMode license

Visit the main EMode Photonix website to get a license: Get EMode.

Make sure to verify your email.

2. Download EMode

System requirements: Windows 10, 64-bit, 956 MB free disk space.

Mac users: Try installing a virtual machine to run EMode (Parallels and UTM are currently being tested).

3. Setup script environment

Choose either Python or MATLAB, and follow the instructions in the corresponding Setup section:

• Python connection

• MATLAB connection

4. Login to the License Manager

Run EModeLogin from the Windows Search Bar.

5. Run EMode

Copy and run the Basic: SOI example to test EMode.
