Installation

1. Create an EMode Photonix Account

To get EMode, first create an account. Verify your account through the confirmation email you receive.

2. Purchase a License

Purchase a software license online through the EMode store.

3. Download EMode

Login to your EMode Account. At your account page, you will find the link to download EMode.

System requirements: Windows 10, 64-bit, 956 MB free disk space.

Mac users: Try installing a virtual machine to run EMode (Parallels and UTM are currently being tested).

4. Setup a Script Environment

Choose either Python or MATLAB, and follow the instructions in the corresponding Setup section:

• Python connection

• MATLAB connection

5. Login to the License Manager

Run EModeLogin from the Windows Search Bar or the command line.

6. Run EMode

Copy and run the Basic: SOI example in your scripting environment to test EMode.
